Scoping comment period ended January 3, 2022

The Surface Transportation Board’s (Board) Office of Environmental Analysis (OEA) issued a Notice of Intent (NOI) to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) in the above-captioned proceeding on November 12, 2021 and published it in the Federal Register on the same day. In the NOI, OEA invited public comments on the scope of the EIS by December 17, 2021. OEA received requests for an extension of the scoping comment period and advised the public and all interested parties that the comment period was extended to January 3, 2022. The Final Scope of Study for the EIS was published February 18, 2022 and is available on the Documents page.
